Pido 2.500 euros para que me queden unos dos mil entre comisiones y gastos por las recompensas. Son para pagar los gastos básicos: avión, alojamientos, transportes. A cambio de las diferentes aportaciones, ofrezco varias “recompensas”. Están en esta página de Verkami. Solo hay que registrarse antes de pagar. Si en 40 días no se llega a 2.500 euros, el dinero se devuelve a quienes lo hayan aportado.
Si se supera y llega a 3.500 euros iré a Egipto para cubrir las elecciones legislativas que han sido anunciadas para abril. El gobierno debe dar la fecha definitiva antes del 25 de febrero. Pero Egipto es hoy -aún más que antes- un país imprevisible. Si por algún motivo las retrasaran sin fecha, iría igualmente al Cairo en primavera para entender mejor la evolución del país.

Joxeba Pagazaurtundúa nació en Rentería en 1957. Desde niño había vivido en Hernani, hasta que se instaló en Andoain para formar una familia con Estíbaliz Garmendia. En Andoain nacieron sus dos hijos, Alain y Ander. En Hernani vivió toda su familia hasta que, en los años 1996 y 1997, decidió abandonar el municipio para instalarse en San Sebastián, a fin de evitar el acoso del entorno proetarra.

Human Rights Watch has documented at least 24 cases of summary executions by M23 fighters during the M23’s occupation of Goma and nearby areas, between November 19 and December 2. All but three of the victims were civilians. Human Rights Watch research found that M23 rebels raped at least 36 women and girls in and around Goma during the same period, including at least 18 wives of army soldiers and a 10-year-old girl, who died from her wounds a day later. The M23 forcibly recruited army soldiers and medical officers, police, and civilians into its ranks in violation of the laws of war, and took them to its military bases for “retraining.” They also looted hundreds of homes, offices, and vehicles.
